It is that time of year again for me! The beginning of the face painting season. The calls for birthday parties have begun and the fair applications are arriving in the mail! I have already done two birthday parties…one with henna and the other with face painting. Now that we are deciding on what fairs to participate in, my partner, Kristine and I realized that we still needed one more sign for our booth.
The folks at Build A Sign gave me the opportunity to try out their banners and Kris and I decided it was the perfect time to add the one banner we needed.
When we are working at a fair, not everyone realizes that we can be hired to face paint at birthday parties, corporate events or family celebrations. Our new sign proclaims it loud and clear!! We also added the fact that we offer body painting as well as prenatal belly painting (one of the most fun things to do!). We want our clients to know all the different reasons we can make their parties and events fun and unique.
The Build A Sign website was easy to use and you have the ability to add graphics and fonts to custom design your own banners. I took complete advantage of my husband and had him design the banner in Photoshop. We then just uploaded the entire design as a JPEG to the Build A Sign website. Super easy to do!
I also cannot speak highly enough for the customer service at Build A Sign. As soon as we had uploaded the design and pressed the finished button, we found a spelling error! I sent a quick email to the company explaining what happened and got back a reply early the next morning that we could fix the problem before the banner was sent to the printers! That was a huge sigh of relief and the quick response made the stress go away!
Kris and I are positive that the new banner will only improve the bookings we get from the fairs this spring and summer, and are looking forward to getting out there and face painting our hearts out!
I link up at these great parties!
Disclosure: I was given a banner to review from BuildASign. However, all opinions and thoughts are my own!
