Add in a kitty, puppy, tiger and an angel, and you have six fun but simple face painting ideas that will cover both boys and girls.

One of those designs includes a fun take on Spiderman but most boys still prefer a full face Spiderman face paint like the one above. This single eye butterfly design is a great option for the girls and can be painted in their favorite color. Add glitter and matching lips and you are all set!

Less paint makes for easier removal. The designs avoid the eyes for the most part but are still super cute!

Boy or girl, big or small…it is requested by all! Don’t be afraid to offer the tiger design in colors other than orange. Those colors are traditional but a blue or purple sparkly tiger is just adorable!

Finally, we have the angel face paint. I think this gets requested due to the blue lips! Who doesn’t love a blue glitter lip? My example is in a soft turquoise but use the blue you have in your kit. Adding a touch of white to the sponge on top of the blue will give you the option of a lighter blue.

Get started with face painting by practicing these designs. All of them will teach you basic strokes and from there you can work on more complicated designs. My other posts in this series will help you with using a sponge and some simple brushstrokes that will have you painting in no time! You can also read all about a basic list of supplies and an easy face painting station.
