I have always been fascinated by hamsas. The Hamsa Hand in all faiths is a protective sign that brings it’s owner happiness, luck, health, and good fortune. I have seen so many gorgeous designs that other artists have made in the hamsas and I thought it might be fun to create my own doodled design for the front of a greeting card.

The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. This post also contains affiliate links. The opinions I share are solely my own.

I had my husband draw a hamsa on the computer which I printed out on white cardstock. I then cut out the shape with scissors. Another option would be to find some clipart online that you can print.

Most hamsas include one and the Many Faces stencil was perfect for this. I used a Sharpie pen to trace the eye shape and then filled it in.

I then filled in all of the stencil shapes with a few doodle marks to tie everything together.

There are so many stencils that I could have chosen to help me doodle the hamsa design, that I will never run out of ideas to make more!
