You are invited to create a deconstructed one page wonder art journal full of pockets over six days
of easy lessons that you can do in bite-size bits of time!

This FREE event is a way of introducing you to my style of teaching, sharing and creating that is the basis of my membership, The Creative Playground. The Creative Playground is an eclectic, fun and playful monthly membership designed to get you out of your creative rut, let go of perfectionism and move away from the fear of the blank page.

I’m a big believer in using SIMPLE supplies on SMALL surfaces in SHORT bits of time. This Snacktime offering will give you a fabulous journal to work in to keep your creative art practice full of play and delight!

My definition of a deconstructed art journal: instead of binding pages into a cover, this journal is full of pockets to keep the pages loose with different sizes and papers. You can swap out watercolor paper for sketch paper; tags for square bits of mixed media paper. Once you finish all of the loose pages, tuck them into an envelope and refill your one page wonder’s pockets with more blank surfaces for you to start again!

For six days starting on Saturday, March 8th, you will have a lesson open per day in the classroom as I guide you through making this colorful and fun deconstructed art journal. You will have until Sunday, March 16th to access the classroom. After that, this Snacktime creative class will only be available within The Creative Playground membership.

The classroom will include:

• Printables to help you create the pockets in your one page wonder journal.
• 6 daily lessons to complete the project.

In addition, there will be 3 live get-togethers to play and ask questions. All lives will be recorded for the classroom.

  • l’ll be showing how I use 5 minutes at a time to play on the “pages” of your deconstructed journal.

  • I’ll be playing in the journal as well as sharing the yearly project happening in the membership for 2025.
