I shared a doodled art journal page recently called “Peace” that became a way for me to quiet my brain a bit. Well, recently I had a chance to spend some time coloring in my doodle and wanted to share that with you.
The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. This post also contains affiliate links. The opinions I share are solely my own.
This is the page I had doodled by using a stencil from The Crafter’s Workshop called Doodle Borders. At the point I ended it above, I hadn’t been sure if I wanted to color it in or not.
A couple weeks ago, I treated myself to an inexpensive set of gel pens and when I found myself a little stressed out this past weekend (seems to be a recurring theme!), I thought a bit of coloring might be a good idea!
I dumped out all of the gel pens and randomly grabbed colors that spoke to me. I didn’t have any plan in mind.
Playing in all the different shapes with the gel pens brought my stress level down immensely!
So, the next time you feel a little crazed, grab a stencil, trace the patterns and go to town filling in the shapes with some color! It works wonders for your stress levels.
