Yesterday I showed you how to make St Patrick’s Day cupcakes that included a green shamrock on the top. These chocolate Celtic knot shamrocks are super easy to make!

Chocolate Celtic Knot shamrock cupcake toppers • AtopSerenityHill.comI googled Celtic knot patterns online and printed out two that I liked and that I felt would be fairly easy to make with the chocolate. The paper patterns went under a piece of waxed paper on top of a cookie sheet. I melted the chocolate in the microwave (according to the directions on the Wilton package) in a decorating bag, snipped off the end just a tiny bit, and then piped all my shamrocks! Easy!

However, since I had a lot to make, I popped my cookie sheet into the freezer for a couple minutes to speed up the process. If you have never piped chocolate before, you might need to practice a bit but even the “bad” shamrocks can be eaten!
