Below are some of the body paints that I have done for Valentine’s Day in the past few years. They are all designs that have gotten stuck in my head and the only way to get them out was to paint them. One of the unfortunate things about body painting is that when a design pops into your head, it is not always convenient to grab a canvas and get to work!! Since the canvas I need is a willing human, I can’t just run to my local art or craft store and pick one up! I have been very lucky with finding models to work with and have talked many friends into showing a little skin and providing me with a canvas. The couple below were a total hoot to paint and provided a lot of entertaining commentary to go along with the painting!
I have even painted my husband! He has been my canvas on a few occasions and it is a great way to spend time together.
My post on Valentine’s Day is the closest I got to body painting this year. My friend, Kristine, provided her hands for my painting pleasure!! Can’t wait to see what pops in my head next year. Any requests!!???
These body paintings are beautiful. I have a friend who really enjoys body painting. I also have a friend who has had it done before. I haven’t ever tried it, though I enjoyed looking at your creations.
I read your About Me page and think it’s awesome that you want to live in an RV. (Or was that sarcasm?) It would be neat to be able to travel all the time!
