If you have a small present to give, why not make it extra special by using one of your art journal pages as the gift wrap?

It is also super dimensional with lots of layers glued down on the watercolor paper.

It was the perfect size for my present…a set of water brushes for an eight year old budding artist.

This is such an easy way to make one-of-a-kind gift wrap and to add that extra touch to your gift giving!

Great idea! I think if I received a gift in that paper, I’d feel like the paper was a gift, too. I’d save it in my own journal. 🙂

Thanks, Joy! I would save it, too! I love having paper like that to put down as a background or some element.

Wow Consie your gift wrap is so pretty, great idea to share your talents. Lucky kid to get those blending brushes. I can remember driving all over place around area we lived in KY looking for some. Bought one then never used it. duh.
Looks like you keep up your talents and art all the time, that’s always a great idea, keep the creative juices flowing and current. You are so talented, your journal pages show that.
After getting ready for a craft show middle of Dec. then trying to clean up mess in house, finish holiday prep I just got in slump, can’t seem to get enthusiasm back yet.
Think Spring weather will help, being cooped up in house seems to do it every year. Not a bad winter here but it’s dreary so much. I did make few things for Valentines Day but not like I used to. Been having mega computer problems. Got a new 8.1 before holidays but boy is it a trial for me, got old 7 out and using it. Had problem with internet connection, cable was run under rug in our mudroom where we have our pc’s. Guess cable got bad spots wasn’t transmitting. Will get 8.1 out again and try to figure it out more soon. Had to wait til Wed. 25th. (SS payday) to get new cable that goes from router to my pc. Daughter said she’d come over on Saturday to help me get printer installed correctly. Sure hope so. Is it cold/snowy where you are? Have forgotten where you live, sorry. Happy weekend

What a wonderful idea 🙂 I love that you printed them off on A3 paper and used that too – what a marvelous idea… time for me to get the watercolors out I think!

Thanks for the inspiration and thanks for contributing to The Sunday Brunch Magazine 🙂

    All the best,

Excellent Idea. Love the artwork. I did that one year with a butchers brown paper roll and paper bags. Blessings, Janet PPF/DLP (PS. Love the pillow [in the sidebar] is that paint on fabric?)

    • Consie Sindet April 14, 2015 at 3:34 pm

Thanks, Janet! The pillow in the sidebar is from Society6. I paint the designs on paper, scan them in and the company makes the pillows with my designs on the fabric.
