After deciding that I wasn’t going to use the same idea for a to-do list as I did last year, I went looking for a new solution. Last year’s book worked great but the change to the Documented Life Project to more art journaling created a need for a separate to-do list.
Enter my first junque journal, quickly followed by two more! I was able to use up some leftover papers, be messy and use my sewing machine…all wins in my book!
I created a flip through video for you instead of taking a ton of pictures of the three journals I made. I also explain the 3 uses I came up with:
1. To-do list
2. Mini art journal
3. Mini doodle or sketchbook
I used my sewing machine
and a denim needle
to attach the papers to each other and to create a binding, as well as to attach Sari Ribbon
as a closure.
The pages are a mix of composition notebook paper, scrapbook paper, paper doilies, cardstock, underpaper, watercolor paper, vellum, hand painted paper, plus whatever else I could find!
They are great fun to make and work in…no rules! Love that…
I link up at these parties!
