Creating mandalas and doodling are one of my absolute go tos when it comes to de-stressing and emptying my brain. I created this page the week before our trip to North Carolina. We went there last week to look around as we are planning a move to Asheville next year. It will be a big move for us and to say I am a little nervous about the changes ahead is an understatement! I can see a few more pages like this in my future! Enjoy this little peek at the page…

Such a great page, so much intricate detail! It’s wonderful to see artists who find ways to incorporate something they love as a means of dealing with the stressors of the day.

Thanks, Diane. The doodling definitely helps. It gets me completely outside my mind and creates a space to just let go.

    Hi Consie!

Doodling is definitely de-stressing and helps to find balance as well living in the present creating. Beautiful pastel colors and wonderful flow!:)
What material did you use for the colors?

    Thanks in advance:) Zsófi

LOVE the zentangle designs! On Pinterest you said there were free downloads…my poor ADD brain can’t find them, and I’m due to go to see the grand twins Friday. I want to do a watercolor project with them. They are little boys who have suddenly developed an interest in art…guess it skips a generation! Please help a frantic grandma out and link me!

Thanks…I really enjoy your journal stuff. Very freeing and inspiring. And it’s so nice to see like minded folks on etsy and Pinterest following their bliss.

Thanks, Suz! I’m not sure what you mean about the free downloads but if you go to my Doodling Pinterest board you will certainly find lots of inspiration. Some of the links might be to downloads but I mostly use the pictures for inspiration. Here is the link: https://www.pinterest.com/serenityhill/doodling-addiction/

I hope that helps out! You can always google doodle design downloads or zentangle downloads to see what you can find. Have fun with the grandkids!
