I’ve shared quite a bit about face painting here on the blog but I thought with Halloween coming up soon it might be helpful to have some of the links to the tips and ideas in one place for you to access.
Starting with the right face paint is so important. You can find all kinds of face paint at the Halloween and party stores but it is usually not the best and I find most people struggle using it. Since there is still time to order the good stuff, I recommend reading this post about my favorite brands and all the supplies that you will need.

Elsa from the movie Frozen will undoubtedly be a very popular costume this year! We created a Elsa butterfly design for our fair season that was a huge hit! The butterfly design follows many of the same steps done in some of our other butterfly designs and is really easy to recreate.

Sometimes just face painting can BE the costume! Especially in colder climates where all that is showing is the face. Above are some great ideas and below…some easy tutorials for you to follow:
