Sketchbook challenge on Instagram 650 650 Consie Sindet

For the month of September, I participated in a sketchbook challenge hosted by Bridgette at EarMarkSocial on Instagram. I didn’t get to sketch all 30 days but that was ok. The idea for me was just to try everyday to draw something.

I really liked the idea of limiting my supplies. The last time I did one of these challenges, I used all sorts of supplies and sometimes that got to be a little overwhelming.

I would love for you to follow me on Instagram and you can check out some of the other sketches I made during the month. Use the hashtag #30daysketchbookchallenge to see what other artists were up to.

I link up at these great parties!

I really like these! I saw one of your daily challenge posts on Instagram yesterday. And you, Consie, and one other artist, Carrie Hilgert, have inspired me to go ahead and branch out, trying new things with my art. So thank you! I’ve opened up a deviantART account in addition to my blog and I’m putting my stuff out there. I probably wouldn’t have gone as far as doing all that if my husband hadn’t urged me on. I’ve also joined a daily challenge group. It’s really helped me quite a lot!

That’s awesome, Melody! The challenges are a great way to try something new. I tried to keep this challenge to just the Micron pens. I added a little color to some and needed a thinker marker here and there but it was great fun to stick to one thing!

Beautiful, I can’t figure out which one I like more. I’m really digging the heart and the one beside it to the right. How talented!

You have highlighted exactly what I think about art, supplies and style Consie,
I couldn’t stop smiling when I read and looked at your work. I’ve even drawn a micron butterfly too.
I’m also challenging myself with a daily photograph on instagram for October and I’ve joined an art group so that I can play with all sorts of ideas and different medium.
Thanks for sharing… enjoy your weekend and creativity ;D

Great doodeling, Consie. I repetedly saw your sketches at Dion Dior’s Friday Sketches and thought I’d finally take some time to leave you a comment, because I really love to see what you’re doing!

Enjoyed seeing your sketches. I work a lot in black and white. Don’t do instagram but did catch your work on Dion Dior’s site.

I love the free spirit of the sketches. The ebb and flow and movement of the lines……. It brings me to a land of fantasy and easiness….. Beautifully executed. Thanks for sharing…..
